Even though in my previous post I wrote that ”tha radahs” would not take Russell in the first round. I have decided to play it safe. Since the deal with Moss and Green Bay isnt progressing, the Raiders will most likely fill their weakness at QB.
1. Raiders - JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU: I’m not so sure this will be the route they take. It seems like Calvin Johnson is on their radar and is, in my opinion, the top player in the 2007 draft. But until they unload Randy Moss or Jerry Porter, I don’t think it’s likely they take Johnson #1. So, for now, Russell is probably their guy.

With all of the hype surrounding QB JaMarcus Russell, It is apparent that the Raiders are currently making moves away from drafting the Louisiana State quarterback. Any team would benefit with just the physical skills of Russell alone, however the raiders are most likely looking for someone with game breaking abilities. Yesterday the Oakland Raiders attended the personal workout of Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson. Johnson has the size, speed, and game-breaking that the Raiders are looking for.

A company called BumpTop have created a physics based desktop environment that is designed to simulate a real life office desktop. Icons are simulated as peices of paper and can be moved, grouped, and put into piles. Check out the video below.

As of this writing I am very excited about what Cam Cameron has been doing with the team so far. I’m excited that he decided not to hire an offensive coordinator, and that he will be calling the plays himself. I’m excited that he scraped off all of our mediocre players with high salaries.
Cam went ahead and signed Free Agent Joey Porter to add to an already impressive defense. I know I’ve already mentioned this, but I am very excited about the possibilities with the new dolphins team.
Yesterday I just heard that the dolphins are interested in speaking with Brady Quinn and JaMarcus Russell.

It sounds almost too good to be true: a cheap and simple drug that kills almost all cancers by switching off their “immortality”. The drug, dichloroacetate (DCA), has already been used for years to treat rare metabolic disorders and so is known to be relatively safe.
It also has no patent, meaning it could be manufactured for a fraction of the cost of newly developed drugs.
